Obligatory 2021 Season Preview

(Plus: A Non-Subtle Request to Subscribe to JAYSLAM)

It’s about that time of the year when anybody on the internet with the slightest inkling of an opinion on baseball feels compelled to and is expected to make predictions about how the regular season will unfold. It’s impossible to make a completely informed prediction at this point of the year. We have no way of knowing what effect injuries and transactions are gonna have on the performance and composition of teams. Season previews at this point of the year will be irrelevant in a month.

With that said, I never claimed to be different. And also, they’re fun. So here we are.

Included HERE is a link to a spreadsheet with all my predictions for the year, including regular season results, premature postseason results, my most valuable position player and pitcher for each team, and my guesses for major awards.
